    THRESHOLD ARRANGEMENTS
    TECHNICAL FIELD The invention relates to a threshold arrangement and in particular to a threshold arrangement between a wet state and a dry state.
    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Large construction sites may have hundreds of apartments, each with one or two wet rooms. A threshold must be provided in the doorway between the wet room and the dry room in accordance with certain rules and guidelines to prevent moisture damage. The installation of thresholds is complicated by the different floor materials in dry rooms, which means that the height of the floor surface can vary greatly. The installer may have to measure and shape a suitably sized strip based on the height of the floor material of each installation site, which naturally slows down the installation work and requires precision, suitable tools and space from the installer. - It is possible to assemble and deliver installation packages suitable for each site on the basis of pre-given information, but this is also time-consuming and, in the event of errors, can significantly slow down the installation work.     SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a solution in which the above-mentioned disadvantages of S are eliminated or alleviated. In particular, the invention seeks to solve how to provide a threshold arrangement suitable for different floor heights.
    The objects of the invention are achieved by the features defined in independent claim 1. The waterproofing threshold according to the invention is characterized by what is stated in the characterizing part of claim 1.
    A threshold arrangement according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a threshold for arranging between a wet space and a dry space, the threshold comprising two long edge sides, a lip on the first edge side of the threshold the edge of the waterproofing material and a movement seam arranged in connection with the dry space, the heights of the strip pieces of which differ from each other.
    According to one embodiment, the IS-covering strip piece of the movement seam arranged in connection with the dry space is selected according to the floor height of the dry space. The sill arrangement 100 comprises a sill 102 comprising two long edge sides 104a, 104b. A lip 106 is formed on the first edge side 104a of the threshold, in which the edge of the wet space waterproofing material (not shown) is arranged in connection with the installation. One skilled in the art will appreciate that a threshold can be installed between the wet space and the dry space up to N so that the edge side comprising the lip is on the wet space side.
    The depth and height of the lip 106 on the first edge side of the sill is usually selected in accordance with given instructions and regulations, such as the Building Regulations. One skilled in the art will appreciate that the depth and height of the lip may be selected in another manner. In the exemplary embodiment shown in Figure 1, the lip 106 has a depth of about 7 mm and a height of about 19 mm. The sill arrangement 100 further comprises at least two strip pieces 108a, 108b for connection to the edge sides 104a, 104b. One skilled in the art will appreciate that the lengths of the strip pieces are selected to correspond to the length of the edge sides 104a, 104b of the threshold. The widths of the strip pieces are preferably also chosen to correspond to each other. According to one embodiment, the width of the strip pieces is selected according to the depth of the lip 106, taking into account the fastening margin of about 1 mm. —However, the heights of the strip pieces 108a, 108b are chosen to differ from each other. According to one embodiment, the height of the strip piece 108a is selected so that the strip piece 108a is suitable to cover a movement seam arranged in connection with the dry space, in which the dry space has a high floor height, such as a parquet or laminate floor.
    According to one embodiment, the height of the strip piece 108b is selected so that the strip back piece 108b is suitable to cover a movement N seam arranged in connection with the dry space, where the dry space has a low floor height, such as in a floor covered with a plastic mat 3. Preferably, the height of the strip piece 108a can be selected to be, for example, about 7 mm S to 9 mm, more preferably, for example, about 8 mm to 8.5 mm, which may allow the strip strip 108a to be connected to the dry side side edge side N 104b when the floor height is high.
    Further, the height of the strip piece 108b may preferably be selected to be, for example, about 13 mm to 15 mm, more preferably, for example, about 14 mm to 14.5 mm, which may allow the strip piece 108b to be connected to the dry space side edge side 104b when the floor height is low. Figure 2 shows a threshold arrangement according to an embodiment of the present invention as seen from the end of the threshold, the strip pieces being arranged in connection with the threshold.
    A threshold 102 is set between the wet state and the dry state.
    The edge of the wetland waterproofing material 110 is arranged along the entire length of the sill in connection with the sill lip 106.
    In the exemplary embodiment of Figure 2, the floor height of the dry space is high, for example due to the parquet 112.
    In this case, the lower strip piece 108a is arranged to cover the movement seam 116 between the threshold 102 and the dry floor material 112. The attachment of the strips 108a, 108b to the sill 102 is a technique known to a person skilled in the art and will not be described in more detail in this application.
    Figure 3 shows a threshold arrangement according to another embodiment of the present invention, seen from the end of the threshold, the strip pieces being arranged in connection with the threshold.
    In the present embodiment, the floor height of the dry space is low, the floor material being, for example, a plastic mat 114. In this case, the higher strip 108b is arranged to cover the movement seam 116 between the threshold 102 and the dry space N. 7 25 = + One skilled in the art will appreciate that the present threshold arrangement may also comprise S more than S two list pieces shown in the exemplary embodiments described above.
